July, 2011– Durga puja is the biggest festival of West Bengal, India. Puja was coming near, so one young boy was thinking about the street children who cannot enjoy even in the days of the festival. After consulting with his friend, they together took resolution to distribute new dresses among street children of Kolkata and surrounding areas.

16 September, 2011 – After collecting money from friends and familiar ones, buying and properly packing done. Then we started distribution on the same day. It continued whole night. This day we regarded as FOUNDATION DAY.

September, 2011 – FOOD DISTRIBUTION project launched.

10 October, 2011 – One group named “AGOMONI” created on Facebook by another friend.

May, 2012 – We decided to form a Government registered nonprofit charitable organisation. Most probably on 1st May at Kalyani, a nearby town of Kolkata.

16 August, 2012 – The organisation was registered as VIJAYA AGAMANI FOUNDATION under West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961 (No. S/1L/94933).

6 January, 2013 – Soumya Foundation was merged with Agamani and became the Medical Unit of Agamani.

12 January, 2014 – In the auspicious birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, Agamani formed a new project named “Child Care and Development” (CCD).
